The frequency of filter cartridge replacement in the SunPure Y7 Countertop Water Purification System depends on the feed water type and temperature. On average, the filter cartridges have a life expectancy of 528 gallons (2,000L) of water. However, it is recommended to replace the filter cartridges every 3-6 months for the CF Cartridge Filter and every 6-12 months for the Reverse Osmosis Membrane. Please note that these timeframes are estimates and may vary based on the quality of your feed water. It is important to regularly monitor the CF/RO indicator lights on the control panel of the system. When the indicator light is steady and above 90% exhausted, it is time to order new filter cartridges. If the indicator light is flashing and at or above 100% exhausted, you will also hear 10 beeps, indicating that the filter cartridges need to be replaced immediately.
