To change the temperature scale on your Braun ThermoScan thermometer, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the start button.
2. The thermometer will turn on and show the start screen, where you will see all of the symbols on the display.
3. Continue holding the button down, and it will show "C" or "F" for one second and then change to say "SET" for one second.
4. The pattern will continue as you hold down the start button, alternating between "F", "SET", "C", and "SET".
5. To select the desired temperature scale, release the start button when the setting you want appears on the screen.
Note: "C" represents Celsius and "F" represents Fahrenheit.
