To connect your computer to the RUCKUS R760 Indoor Wi-Fi Access Point, follow these steps:
1. Using an Ethernet cable, connect your computer's network port to the 10G ETH PoE port on the AP.
2. Connect the AC cable of the AC power adapter to a convenient and protected power source. Connect the DC output cable of the AC power adapter to the 48 VDC port on the AP.
Note: Alternatively, you can connect the 10G ETH PoE port to a PoE injector or switch for both power and network connectivity.
Note: The PoE switch port must run the link layer discovery protocol (LLDP) and power over Ethernet/MDI (PoE+) for the AP to operate in full-power mode. Make sure to enable both LLDP and Power through MDI (802.3) on the switch, if available.
Note: If the AP is powered by 802.3at PoE, the supported feature set is reduced. For full functionality, it is recommended to use 802.3bt-compliant PoE to power the AP.
Once the computer is connected to the AP, you can proceed with the setup and configuration process as described in the user guide.
