To connect the Edifier R1280T Multimedia Speakers to your audio source, follow these steps:
1. Connect the active speaker and passive speaker with the included connecting cable. The golden cable should be connected to the red wire clamp, and the silver cable should be connected to the black wire clamp.
2. Connect your audio source, such as a PC sound card, to the active speaker using the included 3.5mm to RCA connector cable.
3. Once the speakers and audio source are connected, plug the A.C. power plug into the correct A.C. voltage outlet.
4. Adjust the master volume, bass, and treble to your desired level using the dials on the active speaker or the remote control.
Note: If you have multiple audio sources connected simultaneously, both signals will play. To dedicate audio output from one source, decrease the volume or power off the unselected device.
