To install the DEPSTECH D04 FHD 1080P Webcam on your computer, follow these steps:
1. Connect the webcam to your computer using the provided USB cable.
2. Wait for the computer to automatically recognize the camera and install the driver. This process usually happens automatically.
3. If the camera is not installed automatically, check the "Device Manager" on your computer to see if the new device is recognized. If your computer already has a built-in camera, you may need to change the default camera settings or disable the built-in camera.
4. If the computer recognizes the new device, wait for the driver installation to complete. If the installation takes too long or fails, you can try downloading other software to repair or reinstall the driver.
5. If the computer does not recognize the new device, try changing the USB port to a different USB 2.0 or 3.0 port and repeat steps 1 and 2.
6. Once the camera is connected to the computer, you can use test software such as "AMCAP" or "Camera" for Windows users, or "Photo Booth" for Mac OS users, to check if the camera is working properly. If the image from the camera is displayed on the screen, it means the camera has been set up successfully.
