To connect the SC109 VIAS Controller to the internet, follow these steps:
1. Connect the Ethernet cable and the provided DC adapter to the Controller to power it on.
2. Wait until the Internet LED on the Controller turns green. This may take some time, around 30 seconds, for the initial connection.
3. Tuck the cables into the cable slots.
4. Attach the left cover back onto the Controller.
5. Once the internet is connected online, the Internet LED will turn green when connected to the server. The Ethernet port will have two LEDs. The left one turns steady orange when the Ethernet cable is plugged in, and the right one will flash in green when network data is being transmitted.
6. If the internet connection is disconnected, the Controller will send a notification after 3 minutes and will immediately send a notification when it's back online.
7. You can also connect a backup battery to ensure the alarm works during a power outage. The backup battery lasts for 12 hours.
Please note that these instructions are for connecting the Controller to the internet via Ethernet. If you want to use a 4G connection, you will need to place a SIM card in the designated slot and configure the settings accordingly. Refer to the "Connection on 4G" section of the user manual for more details.
