To ensure compliance with FCC regulations when using the Shenzhen Rakwireless Technology RAK13300 LoRaWAN module, follow these guidelines:
1. Avoid causing harmful interference: Make sure the module does not cause any harmful interference to other devices. If interference occurs, try the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the module and the receiver.
- Connect the module to a different circuit than the receiver.
- Consult a dealer or experienced radio/TV technician for assistance.
2. Labeling requirements: When installing the module in a host device, ensure that the FCC ID label is visible through a window or when an access panel is removed. If not, place a second label on the outside of the device stating "Contains FCC ID: 2AF6B-RAK11330."
3. Integration instructions: The module should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20 cm between the radiator (module) and your body. The U.FL connector antenna with a maximum gain of 2.3dBi is approved for use with the module. If the host manufacturer is responsible for an external connector, ensure a unique antenna connector is used.
4. OEM installation: The module has been tested and approved for OEM installation in mobile and fixed applications only. The antenna installation and operating configurations must satisfy MPE categorical exclusion requirements.
