To clean the grease filters on the LIVINOX LCH-ROCK-90BL Chimney Cooker Hood, please follow these steps:
1. Always switch off and unplug the cooker hood before cleaning.
2. Remove the grease filters from the hood. These are the aluminum filters located inside the hood.
3. You can either wash the filters in the dishwasher or soak them in a degreasing agent for an hour.
4. After soaking, rinse off the filters thoroughly and allow them to dry completely before re-installing.
5. Once the filters are dry, re-install them back into the cooker hood.
Regular cleaning and maintenance of the grease filters is important to improve the efficiency of the hood in eliminating heat and contaminated air in the kitchen. Heavy oil deposits can be a fire hazard, so it is crucial to clean the filters at least once a month.
Please note that attempting to repair the appliance by yourself is not recommended. Always refer to qualified service technicians for any repairs or maintenance.
