To update the firmware on your SONY WF-1000XM3 wireless headset, follow these steps:
1. Download and install the Sony | Headphones Connect app on your smartphone or tablet.
2. Open the app and make sure your wireless headset is connected to your device via Bluetooth.
3. In the app, go to the "Settings" menu.
4. Look for the "Software Update" or "Firmware Update" option and tap on it.
5. If a new firmware version is available, you will be prompted to download and install it. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update process.
6. Make sure that your wireless headset is fully charged or connected to a power source during the firmware update.
7. Once the update is finished, your wireless headset will restart automatically.
