To set up your Motorola/Arris SURFboard SB6121 modem, follow these steps:
1. Connect the coaxial cable from your cable provider to the coaxial port on the back of the modem.
2. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the back of the modem and the other end to the Ethernet port on your computer or router.
3. Plug the power adapter into the power port on the back of the modem and connect it to a power outlet.
4. Wait for the modem to power on and establish a connection with your cable provider. This process may take a few minutes.
5. Once the modem is online, you can check the status of the connection by looking at the LED lights on the front of the modem. The Power, Receive, Send, and Online lights should be solid green.
Note: It is important to contact your cable provider to activate your modem and ensure it is properly provisioned on their network.
