To register a new handset to the Yealink W78P/W78H DECT IP Phone base station, you can follow these steps:
1. Make sure the base station is powered on and the handset is charged.
2. On the handset, navigate to the menu by pressing the OK soft key.
3. Select "Settings" and then "Registration" from the menu.
4. Choose "Register Handset" and select the desired base station from the list.
5. Press the OK soft key to start searching for the base station.
6. Once the base station is found, press the OK soft key to confirm.
7. Enter the base station PIN (default: 0000) using the keypad on the handset.
8. Press the Done soft key to complete the registration process.
Note: If the handset is successfully registered to the base station, the handset LCD screen will display "Handset Subscribed" and the base station's MAC address. If the handset LCD screen displays "Searching for Base", make sure the base station is powered on.
For registering the handset to multiple base stations, you can repeat the above steps for each base station.
