To switch the temperature mode on the ADC Adtemp 427 TempleTouch Thermometer from Fahrenheit to Celsius, or vice versa, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the thermometer is turned off.
2. Press and hold the multifunction button for about five seconds. The hourglass icon will appear on the display.
3. While still holding the button, the temperature scale will change from Fahrenheit (°F) to Celsius (°C), or vice versa.
4. Release the button.
The thermometer will now display temperature readings in the selected temperature scale.
