To connect the Xiamen Wi-Fi Smart Lighting to your smartphone, you will need to follow the steps outlined in the user manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Download the "SmartLife" app on your smartphone. You can either scan the QR code provided in the manual or search for "SmartLife" in the App Store or Google Play.
2. Launch the "SmartLife" app and register your device. Enter your phone number or email and select the country you live in. You will receive a registration code via text or be asked to create a password if you choose email registration.
3. Once registered, open the "SmartLife" app and click on the "+" button to add a device.
4. There are two configuration modes available: Quick mode and AP mode.
- Quick mode: Before connecting, ensure that your smartphone is connected to your home Wi-Fi. Set the Xiamen Wi-Fi Smart Lighting to flash rapidly. Follow the app's instructions to connect the device to your Wi-Fi network. Once connected, the app will prompt the connection, and you can control the smart device through the "SmartLife" app.
- AP mode: Before connecting, ensure that your smartphone is connected to your home Wi-Fi. Set the Xiamen Wi-Fi Smart Lighting to blink slowly. Select the device type in the app and click on AP mode to add the device. Go to the Wi-Fi settings on your smartphone and select the "SmartLite-xxx" network. Once connected, the app will prompt the connection, and you can control the smart device through the "SmartLife" app.
