Installation of the hidealite Moon Slim DALI luminaire should be done by a licensed electrician and in accordance with local regulations. Before starting the installation, make sure that the power is turned off. Here are the steps for installation:
1. Ensure that the fixture is turned off before making any changes.
2. If you are installing the Moon Slim DALI EM 320/380 or 320/380 with EM accessories, follow the same steps as mentioned above.
3. For the emergency light module, connect the battery. When voltage is applied, the emergency light module will start a self-test.
- Flashing green light: Indicates that the battery is charging or in normal operation.
- Permanent green light: Indicates that the battery is fully charged or in normal operation.
4. The emergency light module performs an automatic self-test every 30 and 180 days. Additionally, you can perform a manual self-test by pressing and holding the test button for 1-5 seconds. The LED of the emergency light module will light up during the self-test.
5. If you encounter any issues, refer to the troubleshooting section in the manual:
- Flashing red light: Check the connection cable between the battery and the module. Press and hold the test button for 10 seconds to reset and start the self-test.
- Flashing/permanent green light: Indicates normal operation on the module and battery.
- Solid red light: Indicates a defective emergency light module. In this case, you need to replace both the emergency light module and the battery.
6. If you need to perform a factory reset, press and hold the test button for 15 seconds. Note that this will reset the automatic self-test cycle.
