To connect the GOULY LED Controller to your lights, please follow the steps below:
1. Ensure that the input voltage for the controller is between 5VDC and 5-24VDC. Note that the controller does not provide power for the lights, so if your lights require more than 20W of power, you will need to connect an additional power supply to them.
2. If your lights are longer than 5 meters, it is recommended to connect (inject) a power supply to avoid voltage drop.
3. After installing the lights and power supply, double-check that everything is correctly connected before powering on the controller.
4. The controller supports various IC types, including W$2811, Ws2801, UCS1903, UCS2903, UCS2904, TM1812, TM1814, TM1914, SK6812, GS8208, DMX512, SM16703, and LPD8806. Make sure you have the correct IC type for your lights.
5. For the most common connection method, you can use either WiFi or Bluetooth to control the lights. The WiFi connection has a range of 50-70 meters, while the Bluetooth connection has a range of up to 10 meters.
6. To connect via WiFi, download and install the "gouly led" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Open the app and follow the registration process. Once registered, you can connect to the controller using the WiFi connection option within the app.
7. To connect via Bluetooth, ensure that your device's Bluetooth is turned on. Open the "gouly led" app and follow the registration process. Once registered, you can connect to the controller using the Bluetooth connection option within the app.
Please refer to the provided manual for more detailed instructions and illustrations on the connection process.
