To measure AC current using the UNI-T UT-CS09A-D Flex Clamp Current Sensor, follow these steps:
1. Connect the sensor to an alternating voltage measurement device, such as a multimeter or an oscilloscope, using the BNC terminal.
2. Before measuring, make sure to switch off the conductor you want to measure. Do not turn on the conductor before the sensor is locked around it.
3. Unlock the Rogowski coil by rotating the xxxx according to the arrow mark on the case.
4. Wrap and lock the Rogowski coil around the conductor you want to measure.
5. Turn on the sensor and then power on the conductor.
6. Read the value displayed on the multimeter or oscilloscope. The maximum value displayed should be 3.0V. If the current to be measured exceeds the range, select the appropriate range (30A-300A/300A-3000A).
7. After measurement, switch the sensor to the OFF position to shut it down.
Please refer to the user manual for more detailed instructions and safety precautions.
