To assemble the Presto 16-inch Electric Foldaway Skillet, follow these steps:
1. Place the removable base on a flat surface with the rubber feet down. Make sure the Presto logo is right side up and facing you.
2. Lift the handles and fold them out to the fully extended position.
3. Set the skillet pan onto the base so that the supports fit into the recessed areas on the base.
4. Attach the base to the pan by rotating the handles towards the pan until you hear the latches lock into place. When properly assembled, you should not be able to lift the pan off of the base.
Please refer to page 2 of the instruction manual for visual illustrations of the assembly process.
Note: It is important to fully assemble the skillet before using it for cooking.
