To install the ROBE pixelPATT lighting fixture, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the installation is carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with national and local electrical and construction codes and regulations.
2. Mounting the pixelPATT: The fixture can be rigged to a truss or fastened to a floor stand using the mounting yoke. Insert a clamp or spigot into the 13mm hole in the yoke for fastening. If installing overhead, secure the pixel part to the truss using a safety wire that can hold at least 10 times the weight of the fixture.
3. Connecting the pixelPATT with the PATT Driver: Before connecting or disconnecting the pixelPATT, always disconnect the PATT Driver from the mains. Connect the pixel part to the PATT Driver using the provided 4-pin data cable. Then, connect the PATT Driver to the mains and make the desired settings.
Note: If you are using a different data cable instead of the original Robe Data Cable 4-pin XLR, you need to install a ferrite (Robe P/N 13051799) on the cable closely to the PixelPATT for CE compliance.
4. Installing the mounting bracket pixelPATT: Remove the mounting yoke from the fixture by unscrewing the tilt lock and the xxxx . xxxx the Mounting bracket pixel part onto the rear side of the pixel part using four Allen screws M6x16 with washers and spring washers. The mounting bracket can be fastened in two positions on the pixel part.
