To switch between XInput and DirectInput modes on the Logitech Gamepad F310, locate the switch on the bottom of the gamepad. XInput mode is marked with an "X" symbol, while DirectInput mode is marked with a "D" symbol. It is recommended to leave the gamepad in XInput mode unless you specifically need to use DirectInput mode for older games.
In XInput mode, the gamepad uses standard Windows XInput gamepad drivers, and most newer games that support gamepads should work without any issues. If your game supports XInput gamepads and your gamepad is in XInput mode, all gamepad controls should operate normally.
If your game supports DirectInput gamepads or does not support either XInput or DirectInput, you may need to switch the gamepad to DirectInput mode. However, please note that in DirectInput mode, the left and right trigger buttons will act as a single button, not independently.
If you encounter any issues with the gamepad not working or the controls not functioning as expected, make sure to check the USB connection, try different USB ports, ensure the gamepad is recognized in the Windows Control Panel/Game Controllers screen, and consider restarting your computer if necessary.
