To attach the 23ZERO OSPREY 270 Awning to your vehicle, please follow these steps:
1. Place the awning on a protected clean surface with the rear facing up.
2. Measure and mark the PVC at each end of the awning in line with the two channel grooves, approximately 500mm back from the end of the awning (ideally no more than 600mm).
3. Using a sharp blade, score a 5mm cross at the center of the channel groove at your measurement marking.
4. Unzip the awning cover completely.
5. Carefully pull back each side of the PVC to expose the channel grooves.
6. Insert two 25mm M8 bolts in each channel groove and slide them across in line with your marked score in the PVC.
7. Place the scored PVC directly above the bolt and push down firmly until the bolt pierces the PVC and is exposed.
8. Align the bracket holes with the bolts and fasten using the M8 nut and washer.
9. Repeat this process for all three brackets.
Please note that it is recommended to use a qualified or experienced fitter to mount the awning to your vehicle. Regularly check and inspect all fasteners and fixing connections, including hinges bolts, to ensure the awning is securely fixed to your vehicle roof rack at all times.
