The installation process for the PORTOR LIGHTING PT-HBU3 SERIES Round LED High Bay fixture can be done using three different mounting methods: hook mount, ceiling mount, and 1/2" NPT mount. Here are the steps for each method:
1. Hook Mount:
- xxxx the hook into the fixture and tighten it.
- Hang the fixture on the ceiling hook or chain.
- Connect the fixture's wire to the mains according to local wiring rules, ensuring a stable connection and providing proper protection.
2. Ceiling Mount:
- Mark the mounting surface using a marker pen or sharp tool.
- Drill holes on the marked spots.
- Fix screws into the holes using a hammer.
- Align the bracket hole with the xxxx hole, push the fixture to one side, and fix it.
- Connect the fixture's wire to the mains according to local wiring rules, ensuring a stable connection and providing proper protection.
- By adjusting the bracket's screws, users can adjust the fixture vertically by up to 50° to the left or right.
3. 1/2" NPT Mount:
- Unscrew the nuts on the 1/2" NPT stem.
- Insert the 1/2" NPT stem into the bracket hole.
- Re- xxxx the nuts to secure the stem.
- Connect the fixture's wire to the mains according to local wiring rules, ensuring a stable connection and providing proper protection.
- By adjusting the bracket's screws, users can adjust the fixture vertically by up to 50° to the left or right.
Additionally, the fixture can be equipped with an optional DC motion sensor. The motion sensor can be easily installed without tools. If not using the motion sensor, it can be replaced with a protection cover. The motion sensor requires adjustment using a remote control, and the instruction manual provides further details on this process.
