To replace the battery in the RIMAC TECHNOLOGY RIM1404 Smart Keyless System, follow these steps:
1. Place the key fob button side down on a soft surface.
2. Use a screwdriver to unscrew and remove the lower housing cover.
3. Remove the key fob circuit board (SKD).
4. Take out the old battery from its slot and replace it with a new one of the same type (CR2032).
5. Insert the new battery with the "+" side facing up, while avoiding touching the battery's flat surfaces.
6. Reassemble the key fob by following the steps in reverse order.
7. Ensure that the key is not exposed to direct sunlight to prevent damage to the electronic components.
8. Dispose of used batteries correctly according to local regulations or take them to a dealership for proper disposal.
