To register your NETGEAR MS305 5 port Multi-Gigabit 2.5G Ethernet Unmanaged Switch and create a NETGEAR account, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your computer or mobile device is connected to the internet.
2. Visit the website my.netgear.com.
3. Log in to your existing NETGEAR account. If you don't have an account, you can create one for free.
4. Once logged in, you will be directed to the "Your Registered Products" page.
5. Click on the "REGISTER NEW PRODUCT" button.
6. Enter the 13-digit serial number of your switch in the "SERIAL NUMBER" field. The serial number can be found on the switch label.
7. Select the date of purchase from the "PURCHASE DATE" menus.
8. Click the "REGISTER" button to complete the registration process.
After registering your switch, you will receive a confirmation email to the email address associated with your NETGEAR account.
Please note that registering your switch is important for warranty purposes and to receive any future firmware updates or product notifications from NETGEAR.
