To change the abrasive wheel on the PROMED 1030 Electric file, please follow these steps:
1. Turn the clamping device (L) to the left until it audibly clicks or snaps into place two times. This will open the collet.
2. Remove the old abrasive wheel and replace it with a new one.
3. Turn the clamping device (L) to the right until it audibly clicks or snaps into place two times. This will close the collet and secure the new abrasive wheel.
4. Start the device again for operation.
It's important to note that before changing the abrasive wheel, you must reduce the rotational speed to zero. The device will automatically switch off if this step is not followed (SAFETY STOP). Additionally, make sure to maintain a distance of 2-3 mm between the tip of the handpiece and the abrasive wheel.
