To connect the GHP610/W and GHP611/W hotel phone to the internet, follow these steps:
1. Connect the handset (RJ-11 port) to the base using the phone cord.
2. If using a wired connection, connect the LAN port of the phone to the RJ-45 socket of a hub/switch or a router using an Ethernet cable. If using the GHP610W or GHP611W with Wi-Fi, you can skip this step.
3. Power the phone:
- For GHP610W and GHP611W: Connect the 12V DC output plug to the power jack on the phone, and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet.
- For GHP610 and GHP611: Use a PoE switch in step 2 to power the phone.
Note: For easy deployment, the GHP610W/GHP611W is preconfigured out of the box to connect to a default SSID named "wp_master" with a password (WPA/WPA2 PSK) equal to "wp!987@dmin". You can change these settings from the web UI for easier deployment on the customer site.
