1. Preparing Installation Space:
- Check for any obstructions that may interfere with the installation.
- Check if the top of the installation space is level. If not, corrective actions may be needed.
2. Box Installation:
- Use appropriate fixings to suit your application.
- Install the box to the wall or ceiling, ensuring it is aligned and level.
- Use two fasteners per side.
3. Open Bracket Installation:
- Use appropriate fixings to suit your application.
- Install the brackets to the wall or ceiling, ensuring they are aligned and level.
- Use two fasteners per side.
- Measure the brackets end to end to confirm the measurement is correct.
4. Blind Installation:
- Insert the blind into the box.
- Push the booster head/Idler pin into the adapter until you hear a noticeable "click" indicating correct placement.
- Insert the retainer clip MKII onto the idler adapter.
- If using a motor, feed the motor cable through.
- Run the blind down and ensure it is centered.
- Test the blind operation to ensure it is working correctly.
5. Lock Off SS Saddles & Attach Diamond Eye Pad:
- Unlock the saddles and slide them to the required position (suggested 100mm nominal from the end cap).
- Lock both saddles to the bottom rail.
- Attach the diamond eye pad directly below the swivel eye shackle using appropriate screws.
6. Insert Box/Cover:
- Insert the box 120 cover as shown, supporting the extrusion as required for smooth engagement.
- Secure the cover at both ends to prevent accidental dislodging.
