To mute specific tracks during song playback on the Yamaha MOXF6 synthesizer, follow these steps:
1. Press the [MUTE] button on the synthesizer so that its lamp lights up.
2. The lamps of the Number buttons will also light up, indicating that the corresponding tracks are on.
3. To mute a track, press the corresponding Number (1) - (16) buttons. The lamp for the selected track will turn off.
4. Multiple tracks can be muted simultaneously.
5. To sound a muted track, press the corresponding button again so that its lamp lights up.
6. For future recording purposes, make sure all buttons are lit and the mute function is turned off for all tracks.
