There are several methods to switch between computers using the ATEN CM1942 KVM Switch:
1. Manual Switching: Press the port selection push button that corresponds to the computer you want to switch to. Alternatively, press the mode selection push button once to light up the mode icons, and then press the port selection push button for the desired computer to light up all three port icons.
2. Mouse Switching: If you have a USB 3-key scroll wheel mouse, you can double-click the scroll wheel to cycle through the ports and switch between computers.
3. Hotkey Switching: The CM1942 supports hotkey switching using the [Scroll Lock] key. To switch ports using hotkeys, tap the [Scroll Lock] key twice, and then use one of the following methods:
- [Scroll Lock] [Scroll Lock] [Enter]: Switches the KVM, USB, and audio focus to the next port on the switch.
- [Scroll Lock] [Scroll Lock] [n] [Enter]: Switches the KVM, USB, and audio focus to the computer attached to the specified port ID. Replace 'n' with the port ID number (1 or 2).
To enable mouse switching or customize hotkey settings, please refer to the Hotkey Setting Mode (HSM) section in the user manual.
Note: For more detailed instructions and additional functions, please consult the user manual provided with the ATEN CM1942 KVM Switch.
