To connect the Grundig DSB 2000 Dolby Atmos Soundbar to your TV, you have several options depending on the available ports on your TV. Here are the different connection methods:
1. HDMI Connection:
- Method 1: ARC (Audio Return Channel)
- Connect the HDMI cable (included) from the Soundbar's HDMI (ARC) socket to the HDMI (ARC) socket on your ARC-compliant TV. Make sure to select HDMI ARC on the remote control.
- Ensure that your TV supports HDMI-CEC and ARC functions, and that they are turned on in the TV settings.
- Method 2: Standard HDMI
- If your TV is not HDMI ARC-compliant, you can use a standard HDMI connection.
- Connect an HDMI cable (included) from the Soundbar's HDMI OUT socket to the TV's HDMI IN socket.
2. Optical Connection:
- Remove the protective cap from the OPTICAL socket on the Soundbar.
- Connect an OPTICAL cable (included) from the TV's OPTICAL OUT socket to the Soundbar's OPTICAL socket.
3. Coaxial Connection:
- You can also use a COAXIAL cable (not included) to connect the TV's COAXIAL OUT socket to the Soundbar's COAXIAL socket.
4. AUX Connection:
- Use an RCA to 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to connect the TV's audio output sockets to the Soundbar's AUX socket.
- Alternatively, use a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable (included) to connect the TV's or external audio device's headphone socket to the Soundbar's AUX socket.
Please refer to the user manual for more detailed instructions and illustrations on how to make these connections.
