To install the GYMAX GYM09594 3-in-1 Portable Air Conditioner, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the appliance and check for any damage or scratches.
2. Make sure you have all the accessories, including the exhaust hose, hose connector, window kit adapter, remote control, and window kit.
3. Choose a location for the unit that is on a flat, level surface with at least 20 inches of free space around it for proper air circulation.
4. Avoid placing the unit near heat sources, direct sunlight, mechanical vibration or shock, excessive dust, lack of ventilation, or on an uneven surface.
5. Attach the exhaust hose by connecting the hose connector to one end of the hose and the window kit adapter to the other end.
6. Extend the adjustable window kit to the length of the window and connect the exhaust hose to the window kit.
7. Close the window to secure the kit in place and use duct tape if necessary to ensure a tight seal.
8. Attach the hose connector to the exhaust air outlet of the unit.
9. Adjust the length of the flexible exhaust hose and avoid bends in the hose.
10. Place the air conditioner near an electrical outlet.
11. Adjust the louver at the air outlet and switch on the unit.
