To install the TP-Link Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Light Switch HS200, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the power: Before starting the installation, turn off the power to the switch at the circuit breaker.
2. Remove the old switch: Remove the faceplate and unscrew the old switch from the electrical box.
3. Connect the wires: Connect the wires from the electrical box to the corresponding terminals on the Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Light Switch. The switch requires a neutral wire, so make sure you have one available.
4. Attach the switch to the electrical box: Carefully push the wires back into the electrical box and attach the Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Light Switch to the box using the provided screws.
5. Attach the faceplate: Snap the included faceplate onto the switch.
6. Turn on the power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.
7. Set up the Kasa Smart app: Download and install the Kasa Smart app on your smartphone. Follow the in-app instructions to set up the switch and connect it to your home Wi-Fi network.
Once the installation is complete, you can control the switch using the Kasa Smart app or by using voice commands with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
