To change the blade on the Platinum Tools 13300C PT Punchdown Tool, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the punchdown tool is not connected to any power source or active network.
2. Locate the bayonet style (twist & lock) blade retention socket at the end of the tool handle.
3. Firmly grasp the blade you want to replace and twist it counterclockwise to remove it from the socket.
4. Align the new blade with the socket, making sure the notches on the blade match the grooves in the socket.
5. Push the blade into the socket and twist it clockwise until it locks securely in place.
6. Give the blade a gentle tug to ensure it is properly seated and locked.
