To switch between the ear and forehead modes on the iProven DMT-489 Ear and Forehead Thermometer, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the thermometer is turned on.
2. Press the MODE button on the thermometer.
3. The display will show the current mode (either "Ear" or "Forehead").
4. Press the MODE button again to switch to the other mode.
5. The display will now show the new mode.
6. You can now take temperature measurements using the selected mode.
