To use the Livoo DOD168B Large Slot Toaster to toast bread, follow these steps:
1. Before using the appliance for the first time, remove all packaging materials and any transport safety devices. Clean the toaster with a damp cloth.
2. Check to make sure that all parts are assembled correctly and the appliance is stable. Ensure that there is sufficient space between the toaster and walls or other appliances, as the toaster becomes hot during operation.
3. Connect the appliance to a power supply (220-240V 50-60Hz) via the power cord.
4. Conduct one toasting cycle without bread. Press the toast lever down until it locks into place. When the toasting cycle is completed, the toast lever automatically jumps up.
5. Place the bread slices in the slots in the toasting chamber.
6. Set the desired toast darkness with the darkness control. You can choose from seven toast darkness settings, with level 1 being very light and level 7 being very dark. For golden brown toast, set the lever in the middle position.
7. Press the toast lever down until it locks into place. The indicator lamp for "Stop" will light up, and the toaster will start toasting.
8. You can interrupt the toasting cycle at any time by pressing the "Stop" button.
9. When the bread has been toasted to the set darkness, it will be automatically ejected, and the appliance will shut off.
10. For easier removal of the toasted bread slices, the toaster features a lift function. Press the toast lever upward to remove the toast.
