To change the batteries in the Emerson Sensi Smart Thermostat, follow these steps:
1. Remove the face plate of the thermostat by prying it up with a small screwdriver.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the face plate.
3. The thermostat uses two AA Alkaline batteries for backup purposes.
4. When the battery indicator bar on the thermostat display reaches 3 bars, it is time to replace the batteries.
5. Remove the old batteries from the compartment.
6. Insert two new AA Alkaline batteries into the compartment, making sure to align the positive (+) and negative (-) ends correctly.
7. Replace the face plate by snapping it back into place.
By replacing the batteries, you will ensure that the thermostat maintains Wi-Fi connectivity and continues to function properly.
