To use the data retention function on the C-LOGIC 520 Digital Multimeter, follow these steps:
1. Take a measurement using the multimeter.
2. Press the "HOLD" button to keep the current reading. The "H" symbol will appear on the display.
3. To release the hold and continue taking measurements, press the "HOLD" button again.
The data retention function is useful when you need to record or analyze a measurement without the reading changing on the display.
