To clean the eldom TO280C toaster, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the appliance is unplugged and has cooled down before cleaning.
2. Use a moist cloth with some washing-up liquid to clean the outer surfaces of the toaster. Avoid using strong cleansing agents or products that may damage the surface.
3. The toaster is equipped with a removable crumb tray (number 6 in the instruction manual). After every use, remove the crumb tray and clean it. This will prevent crumbs from accumulating and potentially causing a fire hazard.
4. If there are any crumbs or pieces of bread stuck between the heating elements or inside the appliance, hold the toaster upside down and gently shake it to remove them.
