To install the NEXTECH QM3842 Digital Wireless Reversing Camera Kit, follow these steps:
1. Camera Installation:
a. Connect the camera cable and camera power cable.
b. Find a channel hole near the license plate of your vehicle and insert the connector cable plug of the camera into the vehicle interior.
c. Locate the positive and negative power supply of the reversing light. Strip the red wire and connect it to the positive pole of the reversing light. Ground the black wire of the camera.
d. Remove the license plate.
e. Align the mounting hole of the camera bracket with the mounting hole of the license plate, then assemble the license plate and tighten the screws to fix it.
f. Use cable ties to fix the wires to the rear bracket.
2. Monitor Installation:
a. Connect the antenna to the wireless monitor.
b. Adjust the monitor to the desired viewing angle and tighten the locking xxxx to fix it.
c. Clean the area where the suction cup base will be connected to the windshield or dashboard.
d. Press the suction cup base onto the windshield or dashboard and move the lock lever to secure it.
e. Connect the monitor to the car charger.
f. Plug the car charger into the car socket 12V and route the cable around the edge of the windscreen to avoid collision or endangering the safety of the vehicle and its passengers.
