To connect the Govee H6009 LED Bulb to the Govee Home app, follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have a Wi-Fi router that supports the 2.4GHz and 802.11 b/g/n bands. The bulb does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
2. Download the Govee Home app from the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play (for Android devices).
3. Turn on the Bluetooth on your smartphone.
4. Open the Govee Home app and tap the "+" icon in the top right corner.
5. Search for "H6009" and tap the device icon when it appears.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.
Make sure the bulb is powered on and your smartphone is close to the bulb during the initial connection. Also, ensure that you enter the correct Wi-Fi password during the setup process. If you encounter any issues, refer to the troubleshooting section in the user manual for further assistance.
Note: The Govee H6009 LED Bulb does not support dimming via a dimmer switch. It can only be dimmed using the app control.
