According to the owner's guide, it takes approximately 4 hours for a full charge of the Shark SV1106 Navigator Freestyle Upright Bagless Cordless Stick Vacuum. When the vacuum is charging, the battery light will be red. Once the battery is fully charged, the light will turn green. It is recommended to charge the unit for 7 hours before using it for the first time.
