To configure the WAC 7 touch panel controller, you will need to use the WorkCAD3 Configurator software. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Complete the IP level configuration and update the device as described in the WorkCAD3 Configurator manual.
2. Open the WorkCAD3 Configurator software and click on the device with the left mouse button to open the configuration interface.
3. In the configuration interface, you will see various parameters:
- Disable layout Selection: This option allows you to disable the layout selection menu on the device, preventing the end user from changing the layout.
- Keep Backlight On: This option allows the WAC 7 screen to never turn off.
- Refresh: Click this button to refresh the field dedicated to layouts saved on the device.
- Execute Layout: Click this button to execute the selected layout from the list.
- Send Layout To Device: Click this button to send a layout saved on your PC to the WAC 7. The layout will be automatically executed.
- Receive a Layout From Device: Click this button to receive a layout stored in the WAC 7 on your PC.
- Remove Layout: Click this button to delete the selected layout from the list.
- Download log: Click this button to save the log associated with the WAC 7 on your PC.
