To mount the grinding tools on the BORMANN BDG8000 Straight Sander, follow these steps:
1. Before starting any work on the machine, make sure to unplug the power cord.
2. Clean the grinder spindle and all parts to be mounted.
3. Hold the grinder spindle firmly with a spanner by the spanner flats.
4. Use another spanner to loosen the clamping nut by applying it to the spanner flats and turning it in an anticlockwise direction.
5. Insert the clamping shaft of the grinding tool into the collet chuck until it reaches the stop.
6. Hold the grinder spindle firmly with the spanner and clamp the tool bit by the spanner flats, turning it in a clockwise direction.
7. Make sure the grinding tool is securely tightened before using it.
It is important to note that the grinding tools must run completely concentrically. Do not continue to use out-of-round grinding accessories, instead, replace them before continuing to work. Also, do not tighten the collet chuck of the clamping nut unless a grinding accessory is mounted, as this can damage the collet chuck.
