To clean the Eldom C175 Cordless Kettle, follow these steps:
1. Allow the kettle to cool down completely before cleaning.
2. Do not immerse the kettle in water while washing up.
3. The outside of the kettle can be wiped over with a damp cloth and washing-up liquid.
4. Water stains inside the kettle can be removed by rubbing with a cloth moistened with white vinegar. Rinse the inside with water afterwards.
5. To remove limescale, follow these steps:
a. Fill the kettle with 0.5 litre of water and bring it to a boil.
b. Switch off the kettle and disconnect it from the power supply.
c. Pour 0.1 litre of white vinegar into the kettle.
d. Allow it to stand overnight.
e. Discard the solution and rinse the inside with water.
f. Fill the kettle with 0.6 litre of water and bring it to a boil.
g. Discard the water and rinse the inside with water.
6. It is important to remove limescale from the heating element to prevent quicker wear.
7. Avoid using harsh descaling products available in the market, as any damage resulting from their use is not covered by the producer's warranty.
8. If the power cord is damaged, it can be replaced only by an especially constructed one with appropriate plugs and endings.
