To install and connect the QNAP QSW-1108-8T Network to 2.5GbE Connectivity, please follow these steps:
1. Unbox the product and ensure that all the components are included as listed in the "What's in the Box" section of the manual.
2. Connect the power input of the QSW-1108-8T to a power outlet using the provided power cable.
3. Connect your devices to the 2.5GbE RJ45 ports on the QSW-1108-8T using Ethernet cables.
4. Once the connections are made, power on the QSW-1108-8T by pressing the power button or plugging it into a power source.
5. The LED indicators on the device will provide information about its status. The Power LED should turn green when the device is powered on.
6. The Loop indicator will be off if there is no loop detected. If there is a loop, the indicator will flash red.
7. The 2.5GbE ports status LED will be green if the link is operating at 2.5 Gbps. It will flash if there is data transfer, and it will be off if there is no link. If there is a port loop and it is blocked by loop protection, the LED will flash with the loop indicator.
8. Ensure that the device is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating.
Regarding FCC compliance, the device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. It should not cause harmful interference and must accept any interference received. It is classified as a Class B digital device, and precautions should be taken to minimize interference.
