To install the Q CELLS Q.PEAK DUO-G10.X Solar Module Series, please follow these guidelines:
1. Ensure that the installation site meets the following requirements:
- The site should not be an explosive environment.
- Avoid installing modules near highly flammable gas and vapors.
- Do not install modules in enclosed spaces.
- Avoid installing modules in locations where they may be submerged in water.
- Do not use modules as a substitute for normal roofing.
- Keep modules away from air conditioning systems.
- Do not install modules above 4000 m (13120 ft) altitude.
- Avoid contact with saline water and salt aggregation on the modules.
- Do not bring any chemical substances into contact with the panels, except those released by Qcells during installation, operation, and maintenance.
- Installation on water surfaces is prohibited unless prior written consent is obtained from Qcells.
2. Use a mounting structure that complies with structural requirements, local snow and wind loads, and allows for stress-free expansion and contraction due to temperature fluctuations.
- Ensure that the mounting structure properly fastens the modules to the ground, roof, or façade.
- Relieve additional forces and moments of torque caused by torsions, displacements, or vibrations in the mounting system.
- Ensure compatibility between clamps and the mounting frame.
3. Select the appropriate mounting option based on the provided specifications and requirements.
- Consider the test load and design load values specified for each mounting option.
- Use clamps that meet the specified requirements, including clamp width, height, depth, and structural stability.
- Follow the guidelines for each mounting option to ensure proper installation.
4. Follow the electrical layout guidelines for module selection, series connection, and parallel connection.
- Avoid mismatches of specified electric current (IMPP) of more than 5% for modules connected in series.
- Use a safety factor of 1.25 when calculating voltage and current measurement values and sizing control systems.
- Follow national guidelines and safety regulations for electrical installations.
