After installing the ARROW BMW R Nine T Scrambler exhaust system, there are a few steps you should take to ensure proper usage and maintenance.
1. Check for proper alignment: After installation, it is recommended to check all screws to ensure they are properly tightened and to check the alignment of the exhaust system. This will help prevent any issues or damage during usage.
2. Avoid contact with hot surfaces: The exhaust system can get very hot, even when the engine is switched off. Be careful to avoid contact with the exhaust system surfaces to prevent burns or injuries.
3. Regularly check wadding material: The durability of the wadding material inside the exhaust system can vary depending on usage. It is recommended to check the internal wadding material every 8000/9000km or at least once a year. If you notice a change in noise from the exhaust or a change in the color of the silencer's external body surface, it is also advisable to check the wadding material.
4. Follow tightening torque values: When tightening the screws, please follow the indications given in the vehicle's maintenance manual for the original screws. For hardware given in the fitting kit, refer to the tightening torque values provided in the manual.
5. Limitations of warranty: It is important to note that the warranty is limited to defects recognized by the manufacturer's technical service and related to the normal use of the exhaust system. The warranty does not cover components subject to normal wear, such as gaskets and wadding materials. Additionally, the warranty is void in case of accidents, modifications, improper use, and competition use.
