To install the 23ZERO YOWIE ABS Hard Shell Roof Top Tent on your vehicle, please follow these steps:
1. Before installing the tent, make sure you are aware of your vehicle's maximum roof load rating and your roof rack's maximum load rating, including off-road capacity. These ratings can differ depending on the make and type of vehicle and any aftermarket additions such as roof racks or bars.
2. Ensure that your vehicle's roof rack is compatible with the YOWIE tent. The responsibility of fitting the tent to rated roof racks or roof bars lies with the purchaser.
3. The YOWIE tent must be fitted to roof racks with the hinges facing the left-hand side of the vehicle (AUS passenger side). It will open over the right-hand side (AUS driver's side).
4. Lift the roof top tent onto the vehicle's roof rack with the help of at least four people.
5. Ensure that the YOWIE tent is closed and locked in position before proceeding.
6. Slide four 55mm M8 T-Bolts into each bottom mounting rail of the tent. Position two bolts toward the front of the tent and two bolts toward the rear of the tent on each rail. Lift or tilt the tent to allow the inner bolts to cross over onto the inside of the roof bars.
7. Inspect the position of the tent to ensure it will open in the desired position.
8. Place a mounting plate under the roof bar while locating the bolts, and hand tighten the Nylok nut. Repeat this step for all four corners. Double-check the tent's position and tighten all nuts securely with a 13mm spanner. Insert end caps into the ends of the mounting rails.
9. Before using the YOWIE tent, re-check all bolts and fasteners used to mount the tent to the vehicle or trailer for tightness and good repair. Lift the mattress to check the factory-fitted mounting rail bolts under the mattress.
