To connect analog audio sources and destinations to the QSC Synapse D16Mio, follow these steps:
1. Before applying power, make sure to connect all analog audio sources and destinations to the appropriate inputs and outputs on the device.
2. The D16Mio has balanced analog audio inputs and outputs available on terminal blocks or DB-25 connectors. Choose the appropriate connection type based on your setup.
3. Attach analog audio sources to the analog audio inputs and analog audio destinations to the analog audio outputs. Ensure that the connections are balanced.
4. If necessary, set the channel inputs to mic or line level using the unIFY Control Panel software. The default setting for all inputs is mic level.
5. If using line level signals, activate the switchable attenuator pad on the input channels to accommodate line level signals up to +24dBu.
6. Once all connections are made, you can apply power to the D16Mio by connecting the provided AC power cable to a standard AC outlet and the power supply input connector on the device. The unit will power up automatically.
Please refer to the QSC Synapse D16Mio user manual for further details and illustrations on connecting analog audio sources and destinations.
