To synchronize the remote sensor with the base station, please follow these steps:
1. Position the remote sensor near the base station.
2. Install the batteries in the base station. The RF signal icon on the base station display will flash for 3 minutes, indicating that the base station is in synchronization mode.
3. If the RF signal icon stops flashing before you can synchronize the remote sensor, press and hold the CHANNEL/SYNC button on the back of the base station for 3-4 seconds to set it back in synchronization mode.
4. Install the batteries in the remote sensor and wait for a moment. Alternatively, you can press either the TX or RESET button inside the remote sensor battery compartment.
5. The remote sensor's temperature and humidity readings should now show on the base station display, indicating that the synchronization is complete.
6. If you have additional remote sensors, repeat the above steps to register them with the base station. Up to 3 remote sensors can be registered with one base station.
7. To permanently display a specific remote sensor's readings on the base station, press the CHANNEL/SYNC button on the base station until you observe a circular arrow under the channel number. The unit will then stop cycling through channels and display the selected remote sensor's readings.
Note: During the synchronization process, the unit will keep changing from channel to channel in the first three minutes. After that, you can select any channel you like or enable the auto-scroll mode.
