The WINIX 5500-2 Air Purifier has three filters that need to be replaced at different intervals. The Pre-Filter should be cleaned once every 14 days, while the Washable AOC™ Carbon Filter should be cleaned once every 3 months and replaced approximately every 12 months. The True HEPA Filter cannot be washed and should be replaced when the Check Filter Indicator LED is on. The frequency of filter replacement may vary depending on the air quality in your environment. It is recommended to refer to the Filter Indicator Lights and the user manual for specific instructions on when to replace the filters.
